Notifications sounds too low

B. Report this to Apple:

Do your Part: Being suspicious of a bug, most certainly this bug to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what bugs are occurring and what needs to be fixed.

How to Give Feedback:

1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
2. Select: "Bug Report" for "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that this all started after installing this update. Include the URL of this post.
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Please send videos to Apple showing how volume controls have no effect on making out text tones/alerts etc louder, if enough of us do this as it’s now escalated to engineering team we’ll get a fix, pass it on thank you

Feedback given. An interesting note, Apple has not even included the iOS Software version on the drop down menu: What version of iOS are you using? The highest version you can select is 16.6. Apple is getting lazy or simply does not care about their environment or clients. For shame.

iOS 10.6.1 is my iOS version. iOS17 is yet to be updated too. So, see updating to iOS that fixes this. Report back if any success.

It’s definitely too low and you can’t change the type of ring it gives you. I looked up how to increase the volume, but it only gave it for the regular stuff like messages. It says to go to sounds and haptics. But that’s not where you can Increase the sound for notifications. This upgrade was a piece of junk. Does anyone have a workaround to make the sound louder on notifications? I’m not talking about notifications for messages and email and texts. I’m talking about notifications for all the other apps. You can’t do it in sounds and haptics.

Just updated to 17.0.2 and the notification volume issue persists. I also submitted feedback just now.
