Does it still have a use

I have an old 2014 MacBook Pro. The last of the series that didn’t take the most recent OS upgrade.

I really don’t need it but not sure what to do with it, it still works, but I would like it to go to someone who could use it. It is better than my Mums desktop but she is older and a windows user but has a iPhone and iPad, or one of my sisters children but they probably have good laptops anyway.

Or could I sell it and if so what is it worth?

Or a charity that helps marginalised groups get into HE

Yes I do appreciate my privilege and the people mentioned could afford to buy new kit.
