There’s at least three problems that they know about if you bring the phone to Apple they’re gonna act like they don’t know anything one of the text came up to me and said it’s going to need another update or two… also some of the phones after three days the battery gets used to the charging and it stops getting warm while charging which mine has done but at eight 8 o’clock in the morning my phone is at 100% for my iPhone 15 Pro Max and by 12 in the afternoon I’m down to 69% and by 5 o’clock I’m at 40 my 14 Pro Max hundred percent at 8 AM all day long at 9 PM it would be on 50%… I can almost guarantee that when they start making the phones for the next batch, some of the problems gets fixed, this is what happens when we all buy the first ones. I should’ve waited till the end of November.
Battery life is very bad on my iPhone 15 pro max , I fully charge in the morning, after using it for 10min it drops to 90-92% and i do only emails and some web browsing , I don’t have heating issues or maybe I didn’t pay attention
I went to the Apple store and they suggested I wait for a new software update literally if this upcoming update does not resolve this issue I’m returning it back
Hello,
I got my phone on 9/25 and having the same issue for battery drain fast. Home & lockscreen is 45%. I think this is crazy and Apple need to release a new update ASAP.
So yeah I was a day one purchaser of the iPhone 15 Pro Max got home put it on the charger let it charge to 100% notice. It was much hotter than my 14 for the first three charges and now I’m noticing since Friday the battery life on this thing is much worse than my 14 Pro Max I get up in the morning the battery is 100% charged, I can go on Facebook three or 4×3 or four times all within the hour and it’s down to 94% by about 1130 in the afternoon just going on Instagram a few times riding a message to somebody not even watching videos the phones down to 50% my iPhone 14 I could be on Instagram and Facebook all day long scrolling watching videos and buy 6 o’clock I would be at 50%. I’m not sure if I have a buggy 15 or somethings wrong with the batteries or they need to put out some sort of patch immediately because I’m not very happy.
Same thing for me my 14 Pro Max I would charge it 8 o’clock in the morning hundred percent I go on Facebook a few times Instagram a few times and just talk to people on and off my 14 Pro Max by about 6 PM without even charging it watching videos and doing way more stuff than I’ve done in my 15 wasn’t even at 50% yet this is terrible Not to mention it gets very warm when it’s charging and very warm throughout the day of just putting Instagram on for 10 minutes I think they need to put some sort of patch out
Hello everyone,
I imagine that you have all noticed that when you make phone calls, the screen is always on.
A heating source? Maybe !
If you look at your battery stats, the most activity is assigned to "Home and lock screen".
That's why, while waiting for Apple devs to release a new iOS 17 update, I recommend that you deactivate "Always on screen" in the settings.
Stay cool, be patient and trust Apple Devs!
the heating occurs when you are talking on the phone and that’s when it drains battery like crazy and I’ve mentioned this earlier if you guys go to my earlier posts you’ll see the screenshots that I have attached including the one below
Perfectly @Ddey91!

Your calls will be cooler while waiting for Apple devs! ;-)
I’ve never used the always on display since it was released with iPhone 14 pro max. Useless feature
I agree with you but I suggest solutions that can alleviate the problem while waiting for iOS 17.x.x.
till when can we expect an iOS update?
I Have made many changes in my settings to screen including turning on low power mode. It still drains the battery much more quickly than my old eleven!
waiting to hear some good news. Regretting the prompt purchase of this phone!
can't really exchange it after 14 days of purchase if apple doesn't acknowledge this as an issue, just like the Antennagate
Thank you 👍🏼
