I need to buy a charger for a MacBook Pro 15” 2019 and want to know which adaper and wether i need to buy the cable seperatly? Thanks

If you're replacing "old" parts, buy both.

If you're just buying a spare, the choice is up to you. But I find it most convenient to not have to hunt for cables and have one available for each charger.

Apple.com has what you need. Each charger's description will tell you what they work with.
