hey i'm upgraded to ios17. but siri is not responding well.. when im ordering to "set an alarm for 10 minutes" instead it is putting timer for 10 minutes.

This seems to be a design issue around Siri and the Clock/Timer functions. How it seems to work in my tests with Siri is:

• Set command has an exact Time of Day (clock time) = Set Alarm
• Set command has a desired delay (wait some number of minutes or hours) = Set Timer

Try and restart your iPhone to see if the issues persist.

Restart the iPhone 12 and see if that helps if it does not contact .

I have exactly the same problem ever since ios17 ! And siri used to respond to: “wake me up at/in xx:xx” with setting and alarm… now not anymore. It is really hard now to set an alarm via siri… it’s obsessed with setting timers which can’t be snoozed… 🤦🏻‍♀️ Meaning when you’re about to take a power nap, you’ll have to go into alarms and do it manually… no more about to fall asleep commands which were really convenient…
