Iphone 11 stuck on updating white screen with black apple logo

I'm upgrading to iOS 17 and it doesn't seem to finish. I had been in a constant cycle of waiting and force restarting my iPhone but to no avail, IT JUST DOESN'T FINISH UPDATING. It loads until the very end and then stops there, with maybe a pixel left on the loading line. Every time I force restart, it just takes me back to the "swipe up to upgrade" screen and when I do, it acts like it's updating again & does the same thing at the very end... Is there a way to fix this? I also tried connecting to my laptop (not Mac) and it needs me to give access through my iPhone, but I can't exactly do that if it's stuck in the infinite loop of doom... please can someone help out with this??

Hi andreap17,

As every time you force restart your iPhone, it goes back to the Apple Logo and when you connect it to your computer, it requires a passcode, you will need to put the device in recovery mode to update it from a computer.

Putting the device in recovery mode bypasses the need to input the passcode when connected to a computer, in situations like this. To do it follow "If your iPhone turns on but gets stuck during start up" in If your iPhone won't turn on or is frozen or this YouTube video from Apple Support How to restart your iPhone if it’s frozen on the Apple logo

Take care.
