Keep old, unsupported (3rd party) app?

My daughter has an old app on her phone that she is very attached to. Although it’s unsupported she can still access it and the data therein. To not lose this access, she has not updated her phone in 4 years (I know). She now needs a new phone but does not want to lose access to the old app. Any solutions?
