On startup, asking for “name” and password

Usually it shows me as user and ask for password. Now just asks for “name” and password. Don’t know what “name” it wants. I have now to get in. I know my Mac ID?? Help please! Need computer bad!

macbook pro asking for name and password when starting up I really dont want to have to tyope my name and password every time i restart my computer. Password... sure. But There must be a way to avoid having to enter my name? There used to be a way to do this by going into "Users and Groups" and set it to just ask for a password in Login Options. But in Ventura, I can't find that. I'm on a brand new Macbook Pro M2 14" running Ventura 13.4.1. Does anyone know how I can set it to just ask for a password when I restart?

MAC BOOK ASKING FOR USERNAME AND PASSWORD AFTER START UP I noticed when I would go to close tabs/windows I would only have the option to quit and keep windows instead of just quit. So I decided to restart my computer. When I restarted it, I logged in as normal but for some reason I got a screen that asked for username and password. I was stuck and couldn't figure out what happened. All the videos and forums didn't give answers.
