Google shows wrong location/currency since returning from Europe

Ever since my wife returned from Scandinavia, Google provides everything in Danish language/currency. I have set the location to Tacoma, WA and it makes no difference. Seems to be tied to our IP address. Once I connect to VPN it is back to normal. This happens in Google Search, Youtube etc no matter what browser I use (Safari, Chrome). Happens to any device connected to the home wifi (Mac, iPhone, iPad...). Seems to only apply to Google Services. Very annoying. Any ideas?

Location in Google is set to "Current Region" but even if I set it "United States" it makes no difference. Turned off the cable modem and connected it again. Dynamic IP address.
