General volume on iPhone 15 Pro is reversed.

I received the iPhone 15 Pro Friday (9/22). Updated during setup to 17.0.2. No audio issues when playing music, podcasts or videos. When typing, keyboard clicks are loud when the volume is low and attenuated when the volume is high…never has this happen before. Same response with incoming texts and phone calls. Hoping the next update will fix the issue.

I have the exact same problem. My iPhone 15 Pro (natural titanium 256GB) is running iOS 17.0.3. Most "third party" audio - like videos from apps and internet browsing - is fine. But the "built in" audio that's part of iOS' sound effects is reversed. Sounds like screen locking, keyboard typing, etc. are what I'm having problems with.

Turning the volume up makes the "built in" sounds quieter, and turning the volume down makes them extremely loud. It's like the controls for this category of audio have been inverted or reversed.

It's very disappointing when the rest of the phone is so outstanding. I'll just leave mine on Silent Mode until (hopefully) a software update fixes this pretty major problem.
