How do I know what plug my iPad has

I’m want to order a replacement cord and a SD adapter for my iPad and I’m trying to figure out model of plug in I need

Start by identifying your iPad model:

Identify your iPad model.


These iPad models have a USB-C port:

  • iPad Pro 11" (all models)
  • iPad Pro 12.9" (third generation and later)
  • iPad Air (fourth generation and later)
  • iPad mini (sixth generation)
  • iPad (tenth generation)


All other iPad models have a Lightning port


You can also identify whether your iPad has a Lightning or USB-C port by looking at the iPad specifications - all of which are listed in Apple's iPad comparison page - and from the linked specifications pages:
