I think you mean a recovery key.
A recovery key is a secret 28-character code that you set up in Apple ID settings. This key is required to recover your Apple ID if you don't have a recovery contact or another Apple device.
To reset your password, go to iForgot and follow the instructions. You will only need your recovery key if you don't have another signed-in Apple device or a recovery contact.
Unfortunately, if you don't have another signed-in Apple device, a recovery contact, nor your recovery key, the Apple ID cannot be recovered. However, this situation is more unlikely, as you probably have another device.
