FCPX crashing on startup

Hello all. FCPX crashes immediately on startup. I get about 1 second of seeing the timeline before it crashes. Just started two days ago. I am current on OS and current on FCPX. I use FCPX almost daily for work but delete its library often (weekly) once projects are completed. I tried adding another admin login on the laptop to see if the problem persists across users and it does. I have tried deleted preferences on startup and still crashes.

Macbook pro running macOS 13.6 (22G120)

FCPX Version: 10.6.9 (409075)

Hard drive has 117.74 GB available of 250.69 GB

Problem Report shows:

Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6 Abort trap: 6

Terminating Process: Final Cut Pro [25388]

Problem Report attached.

EtreCheckPro report attached.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thank you Luis and Tom for the quick reply. Unfortunately this did not help. I uninstalled AGV antivirus, uninstalled google chrome and deleted all folders/files mentioning google, chrome, com.google, com.google.keystone in LaunchAgents, Application Support, Caches, Preferences folders in both the ~/Library and /Library.

I uninstalled FCPX and reinstalled. Opened with deleting preferences and still the crash persists.

I used app cleaner to remove the application and all its backups. Downloaded a new installation from the App Store, opened it and the crash persists.

The library is/was just the default 'untitled' and it no longer exists. I would assume the new installation would create a new library but nothing is found. Ive tried starting the application holding Opt-Cmd to clear preferences, no luck. Tried starting the application holding option and no prompt appeared to select a library to open. It just crashes.

Ive even tried creating another new user account to log into, opened the application and still the crash persists.

Anything else I am missing here? Could it be a hardware issue like ram? Nothing else seemingly is affected on the performance of the laptop, only FCPX.

There are still remnants of AVG installed, though it appears they are not being run.

You have that WD drive software, which is not needed. Drive manufacturer software is not necessary and may cause issues.

The manifestation of the problem seems to be this:

Diagnostics Information (past 7-30 days):

2023-09-25 13:17:49 Final Cut Pro Crash (3 times)

Executable: /Applications/Final Cut Pro.app

Details:

libsystem_c.dylib: abort() called

I have seen some problems where this libsyste_c.dylib is involved. I am not sure how it comes about, but it may be due to some third software installation leading to a situation where there is more than one of these libraries, with different versions, and the wrong one being called. I could be wrong, but did you by any chance install homebrew on this mac?
