I no longer have bark as a text alert sound option

Hmm, try another one. They sometimes change with new versions of iOS:
1) Restart the device
2) Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. Check the Ringer and Alerts slider. Try changing the sound pattern for the text alert. Try another sound. Does it work?
