Photos - Syncing People Across Devices

I have a MacBook Air 15" (MacOS Ventura 13.6) and an iPhone 12 Pro Max (iOS 17.0.1). I recently moved all my photos from my NAS to iCloud Photos (around 17,800 photos) via my Mac. I then left it running overnight to scan my library after uploading, and it scanned quite a few people, whom I saved. When I checked on my phone, however, the people and a few images that were manually tagged were synced, but not even close to the amount that was put into the albums on my Mac. Is there any way that I can sync the photos that have been scanned into People Albums through iCloud?

Hello smilin_dominator,

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities!

If only some of the contents seem to have synced, you'll first want to try restarting both devices. This can trigger iCloud to sync additional files. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

You'll also want to make sure your device is connected to power and Wi-Fi while doing this.

Hope this helps!
