Accidentally turned Bluetooth off. I tried command and space at - no joy. My screen is now blank. What do I do?

I stupidly turned Bluetooth off on my iMac . So I am unable to use my mouse. ‘Command’ and ‘space bar’ didn’t work either. I now have a black screen.. help!!

iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 13.5

You may need to purchase a wired mouse to get things going again. It is always a good idea to have a wired mouse and keyboard on hand, just in case. Most of us old timers have boxes of them lying around...
