Access my iTunes library on my Samsung Galaxy 21+ phone

I have an existing iTunes account on my computer and have paid to download many, many songs. I have the Apple Music app on my phone and should be able to listen to my library (that I've already paid for) on my phone but keep getting asked to subscribe monthly. How to I get around that? Thanks.
