why is Night Owl no longer available as a text tone. it is there as a ring tone but not as a text tone. can i get it back?

You can't get it back as a text tone. When Apple rolled out iOS 17, they made changes to tones and some tones which could be used for both phone and text were changed to be one or the other. Apple owns iOS and they chose to do this. We can't change anything in iOS as we are all users here on this user to user only forum.

You might want to go out to the Tone Store and look for one you can download (it will cost about $1), but you might find one there which meets your need.

2024. Apple support says text tone Night Owl is gone & No Way to retrieve it. They were No Help at All. Anyone find a way to get it back??
