How can I figure out what my unpaid balance is so I can start using a App Store and updating apps again

I’ve been trying to update apps but it’s saying there’s a problem with my payment method. I change my payment method and it still won’t work. There should be an unpaid balance because if you don’t have money on the card then it will be declined when you try to purchase something. But how do I figure out what the unpaid purchase is
