7th generation ipod touch connection to iTunes on windows 11

OS up to date on the windows 11 PC. Ipod touch using lastest OS-15.7.9. Ipod not recognized when connected with a cable. I also have a ipad with lastest OS, bluetooth in discovery mode, ipod touch in discovery mode, yet error message states ipod not supported.

Javaliga, I tried your solutions and think the driver update may have solved the problem. In addition I find that after I connect my ipod touch via cable, I must force start it each time to achieve connection with itunes. I very much appreciate your assistance
