Why my phone not Charging

Here are a few possibilities:

• Power source isn’t working - try a different power source
• Power source is plugged in to an AC circuit that is not on - plug in a lamp to the outlet to check
• Lightning cable is defective - try a different cable
• Dirt or moisture in the Lightning connector on the bottom of the phone - clean it with a toothpick

• Test with a wireless Qi or Mag Safe charger - if it works, the problem is one of the first few items above
• Battery is failing
