New Version 17.0 with the Grey Screen is a terrible color. It was fine the way it was before!! Why change it? If it's not an issue leave it alone. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK. I don't like the way the display is when showing the keypad.

Do your Part: These are user-to-user forums. Apple rarely reads these forums on their own time as it is. So, provide Apple with feedback on this. Apple wont get back to you directly, but the more they hear of this, the more they will know what suits their customers' needs, and what features to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing your your ideas, if you don't provide them to Apple.
