Photos have missing items and folders on iCloud.com Photos

I have my entire Photos library on my iMac syncing to iCloud.com. However, the iCloud.com shows fewer photos and videos than what is on the Photos app on my iMac. In addition there are shortages on my iPhone as well.

I also notice that in "My albums" from the Photos app on iMac not all the albums are showing up on iCloud.com and some of the albums are missing many photos (a few hundred in one folder), and many display as grey icon squares and will not display at all when selected.

Is it normal for the "Media Types" to have some folders (Selfies, Cinematic and RAW) not show up at all on iCloud.com? The rest are fine so far as I can tell.

Overall the entire library is missing around 30 photos and about a dozen videos which isn't a great deal but why are they not showing up at all on any of the synced iCloud devices?

Is there a way to fix this issue of the shortage of photos, the missing albums and the incomplete albums with greyed out items?

Thank you.

How much space remains on iCloud? Perhaps you need to clear lots of space?

Download All of iCloud:

If you wanted to, you could download all of iCloud, and then trash what is in there. iCloud would be set up anew. You would access the data on a hard drive, thorough use of a Finder Window only your Mac. Perform my User Tip: Getting a Quick and Direct "iCloud Drive-to-External Hard Drive" Download - User Tip

Thank you for your response. I have a 2 TB storage plan on iCloud and currently 350 GB is used by Photos (it's a large amount). So space is unlikely the issue, more so it is a synchronization problem. The Photos Library for all the originals is on my iMac and I back that up regularly to an external hard drive. It is only the items and folders that iCloud.com uses that is the problem. Is there a way to have all the items and folders sync to iCloud.com?

The whole library was synced in the last two weeks from the iMac photos library. All is fine on the Photos app on the iMac, it is only the sync to iCloud.com photos that is having issues.

To Clairify my Reply:

Seeing “as well”, there is a shortage of space. In addition there are shortages on my iPhone as well. to me there’s more to it than just the photos that is taking up space. If they’re not the only things taking up space, then something else is too. Or perhaps I am misreading it.

There is lots of space on my iPhone. 100 GB or so, the photos are synchronized to iCloud but there are many folders that are not complete. Storage space does not appear to be the issue, more so it is the incomplete number of items in each folder, but not every folder. This synchronization began as new two weeks ago when iCloud.com (web)had nothing on there, and now there are issues with certain folders, some don't show up at all (like RAW) and others don't have all the items that they should have. Can an explanation be given as to why this is happening please? Thank you again.
