can admin account login to my account and read my iCloud data (passwords, etc.)

I use an MacBook Pro m2, owned by the company I work for. There are 2 administrators account, one from IT, and the other one is mine.

I was wondering if it would be safe to login into iCloud and sync all my data. By safe I mean, can the other admin account login into my account, and read my data in any way?

for example, when I have to bring in the MacBook for maintenance.

that’s all I have to know :)

Adminstrator A cannot log into Administrator B's account unless he/she knows Administrator B's password.

HOWEVER, Administrator A, having admin privileges on the Mac, could log into his/her own admin account, open System Preferences > Users and Groups, change the password for Administrator B's account, and then log in as Administrator B using the changed password.

If you would ever have to take the Macbook in for maintenance, I suggest removing all personal data from the Mac and disable (remove) your Apple ID from your account on the Macbook. That way no one would see your personal data even if they were to be able to log into your account on the Mac.

If you mean you Personal iCloud Account.

Would check with the Owner / Company Policy Makers if using Company Owned Computers can be used for Personal Usage

I do remember, before I retired in 2007 and working for a Very Large Federally Own and Operated Branch of the Government - they made is very clear.

No Personal Usages on Company Owned Computers

Doing so could be actionable including up to Terminate of Employment

Thx. Yes personal iCloud account. And yes we’re allowed to use company MacBook for personal use. They even gave me an admin account, so I can manage the MacBook. Question is, if the other admin account can login into my account, if they don’t have my password. I know they can remove my account, but that’s not the issue. Want to be sure that no other admin account can login or read my personal data.

no it’s not to guard other users. There are user accounts on this computer as well. They gave me an admin account so I’m able to install software. . The question comes down to this: can another admin account login to another admin account on the same computer?

currently I’m not logged in iCloud with my Apple ID. Because I’m not sure if the other admin account can log in to my account or read my data from the other admin account. Can’t seem to find any information on this.

the other admin doesn’t have my password. Didn’t gave it to them. But can they obtain it from their admin account?

Thx for the information.

still don’t know if admin account can login to my account. I guess you’re saying that they can. There’s no MDM service installed.
