Is it okay to let tunnel bear install helper tool on my Mac?

I have been using Tunnel Bear for a few years and just recently, it asked to force install helper tool while asking for computer credentials. Can I trust it to install helper tool?

Anyone having issues with 1Password? Seems ever since I installed Ventura on my M1 iMac, 1Password 8 is problematic, specifically with autofill. Anyone having similar issues? And what about 1Password for Safari: is it less secure?
