With an Iphone to get an ESim you have to have a bank account and a debit card while you can buy physical sim cards with just a credit card

Ok, So if I buy an I phone 13 with a physical sim card I just need any credit card, with a new phone I have to have a UK Debit card. So unless I’m a UK resident I can’t get a UK number with a new ohone. I don’t think this is Apples intention with E sim.
