Contacts with the same number multiple times

I'm new in iOS world, coming from Android, and I used the Android migration app to transfer all my data to iPhone 15. I choose to migrate contacts and the main Google account; now on contacts I have iPhone contacts and Google contacts. When I open a contact in Contacts app, I see the same phone number repeated two times.

Is there a way to have only one instance of the phone number for each contact?

Thanks!

iPhone 15, iOS 17

Hey Joe_Don,

Great question! Yes, but you would need to turn off Google Contacts under your Settings > Contacts > Google account > Contacts. The reason behind this is because you have Google Contacts enabled along with iPhone contacts at the same time. This can cause the device to show duplicate contacts.

We hope this helps!

Best regards.
