Deactivating Google authenticator

I cannot get into my PayPal app once I switched over to my new phone 15 pro. And the Google authenticator is not providing me with a place to paste the codes so I would like to delete the Google authenticator altogether and just go back to normal two-step verification, someone please help

Hello rgoodner77,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities.

Since the app you're experiencing issues with is not developed by Apple, you'll want to reach out to PayPal Support for assistance. You'll also want to connect with Google Support for help with the authenticator.
