Removing Mic mode indicator from menu bar

So just updated to MacOS Sonoma and love it so far... however I find that the unnessecary mic mode icon is going a little overkill on the privacy front please @Apple can you give users an option to remove it. Besides it being an ugly design choice it should be up to users to decide to keep this on the menu bar.


In the meantime can anyone offer any insight into a way i could stop it appearing without having to stop using any apps that may use mic mode...?
