You didn’t delete the Wallet app, because it cannot be deleted. You may have removed it from the Home screen, but it is still in the App Library (the last page of the Home screen). Go to the App Library, find the Wallet app, and drag it to where you want it.

Yep. It can be deleted. We did it. You can also delete the App Store. Guess how I know? We accidentally did it. The only way to fix it is to update to iCloud then restore to factory settings, then add the cards back

Why does apple pay not show up in library, App store for IPad shows in settings only but work fine and show up on iPhone? Cannot add it to home screen on Ipad OS 17.7 btw.. works perfectly on phone and shows on App store and library there. Cannot make this up, beyond stupid.

I thought that as of iOS 16.1 you could delete the Wallet app; it isn't on my phone (iOS 16.7). How do I restore it?

Mystery solved: if I search for "Apple Pay" then "Apple Wallet" is shown as the application, which I can download.

When I search for Apple Wallet in the App Store it appears.
