Remove download VS. Move to trash

When you're on the desktop on your Mac, and left click your mouse, I was just wondering what the difference was between remove download and move to trash. I couldn't find the answer on the Internet was just wondering.

I had this question for my MacBook Pro. I accidentally clicked iMac FYI

Hi,

If you mean what is the different between remove download "items" and move trash the "items", remove download items is deleting items immediately from the disk, and move trash means just move items to trash which are still on the disk.
