"Most recent backup did not complete because your computer was running on battery"?

Why am I getting message that the most recent backup did not complete because your computer was running on battery when it was already hooked up to the charger? They appear several weeks after using backup disk.

if it will not proceed after the verify, post back for more complex options to get it to "go".

if you use posts from random people on the Internet as your guide, anything you can think of can be found to be "a common problem'. and also, its opposite. Readerswhere mostly ignore what is or what ain't a "common problem".

Please pay no attention whatsoever to what others are experiencing. Tell us more about your SPECIFIC complaint, instead.

Ddoes the problem clear up after a while, or did the stalled backup cause your backups to NEVER complete after that one? are they working now? what is the date shown for last backup?

My last backup was 16 days ago but apparently it didn't work. I've tried to back up files 3X. It seems everything is working like it should, until I get the message that my backup didn't complete because my computer was running on battery (which it wasn't). These messages appear 2 weeks later when I'm reminded I need to back up my files. When I check Time Machine the message is the same.
