I'm having troubling getting it to work. I've chosen options in the screen saver and the name of my photo file comes up. I choose it and... nothing ... just blank

I figured this out. On the screen saver settings, at the very bottom there is an icon that’s says photos. Click on that and then set the location where the photos reside. I set mine to my pictures folder and sub folders are included. Let me know if screen shots would help
Thanks I did that. Restarted and still no luck. Then I changed the Wallpaper settings. Turned off the Show in all Spaces button. And it now works
System Setting > Screensaver > scroll to bottom and under "other" choose "Photos"
Then scroll to the top and you will see "Options". In the Source dropdown menu choose the location of your folder with the photos you want.
I get no options to select any folder when choosing the photos screensaver. Where are you seeing that?
System Settings > Screensaver > Photos --beside this is a white box with "Options" choose this > Source -- beside this is a white box which lets you choose your own photo file
Mine is blank
First I changed the Wallpaper settings. I turned off the Show in all Spaces button. Then turned it on. Then I got the options
I have the show in all space disabled on both, still no option
I'm no expert. Really, I'm an idiot senior citizen who just pokes and unpokes around. What I did was click the button off. And then I turned it on. And that worked for me.
It would appear that Apple doesn't want us to be able to do this anymore and I don't want their ****** videos!
I do not have an option box
Be sure to scroll to the bottom and click "Photos" to make the "Options" appear at the top.
Did you go to System Setting > Screensaver > scroll to bottom and under "other" choose "Photos"
