Where is the button to locate iPhone from Apple Watch on the new update?

This 100%. The main reason I even use the watch is to find my phone. It’s INFURIATING that of all the things to be removed is something so actually handy!!!

Hello Ferd II, Thanks for the TIP on the new Smart Stack! I made a change of the Music Widget and changed it to the batter strength Widget. I did notice that there was not a widget available for the Find My Devices App. You have to go to the All Apps button for that. Kinda Cool, Different.

It is there. I was having the same problem. Right below your little wheel on the right side of the watch is the power button. That's what you press once and the same screen that you used to see will come up and just do what you used to do

How many times are people going to post the same issue and not read the solution. Instead of swiping up, you simply press the button beside the round crown on the side of the watch. SAME MENU as before. Less movement. 1 click that’s all! No swiping, no searching just click and done. Jeez

What is the point of moving the control center? This new update is so clunky! It requires more swipes and button pushes to do mundane things. The having to push a button instead of just swiping up to get to the find the iPhone button, for instance. I bet this is one of the most frequently used functions. The need to swipe up multiple times to get to any apps is another great example. It used to be push a button and then the apps were all there, frequently used at the top of the list. It really seems like many of the updates Apple does change things just for the sake of changing them, not because they work better. Phone menu on the iPhone is another great example, same icons and functions just moved around. If there is some underlying software functionality reason it would be nice to know.

hi , I just figured out . Press the side button once , it will show you the same option which was coming by swapping . From there you can press find my phone option . Press on the upper side of the side button.

I concur! All I need the watch for is to find my **** phone! With long nails this is not easy. Plus I need to silence my watch offer.

Make new stuff, but leave the old software alone!

This new download is horrible! I need the swipe up feature to find my phone. I tried the oval button on the side and it is not there. I tried the “find my” app—for some reason my husband’s iPhone is there , but not mine. I can’t figure out how to add mine. Help!

On my watch have the sos, medical, and map my route buttons. No find my phone. I also used the swipe up feature for the flashlight and silencing the watch and putting it on vibrate. I have no clue where to find these things now:/

I agree, and could not be more agitated when I don't remember what room I layed down my phone and can't find the button to immediately get a notification. How crazy are the people at apple that removed this from a simple swipe-- along with the battery level, illumination etc.-- AND REPLACED IT WITH WEATHER. For the love of....

Now the watch is saying the iphone is disconnected. WHAT???

The "simple swipe" was replaced with a "simple tap". Life goes on.

Pushing the side button to get to a different screen is not as easy as just swiping up on the face. It really seems Apple changes things just for the sake of change. This latest update did not make anything easier from my perspective.

Yes, found out the hard way, they moved it from the easy "just scroll up" to now having to push the button below the crown. Not a fan of the new update, but, as many said, I guess we just need to get used to it...

Honestly, this new update and relocation of the button is a pain. However, all the comments on how it is extra work, really? Once you find out what the new way of doing the action is, it takes the exact same amount of time to complete the action! Whether you slide up or press the button it is the same ONE step, and then the button is there. Updates happen, I do think this isn't my favourite update but really... it's not made life harder in any way, the 'beep my phone' button is still only 2 clicks away, like it used to take me.
