iPad custom wallpaper screen

When going to the lockscreen wallpaper custom screen. After finishing customization the screen freezes on the custom screen and unable to exit unless I lock the iPad then unlock it in order to get back to the Home Screen. I also have the latest 17.0.2 update.

I've not been able to replicate the problem with iPadOS 17.0.2.

If you are experiencing issues immediately following a system software update, try a forced-restart - as this will often clear post-update software issues:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If the restart does not resolve the issue, the next step will be to reset iPad settings...
