iOS17 text message tone error
After updating to iOS17 I’ve lost the message alert tone. I have turned off and turned on ; my phone, notifications message settings, iMessage settings.
any advice to fix this please ?

Let's use the steps below to make sure your iPhone has been updated to the latest iOS 17.0.2, as it contains important bug fixes:
1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.

Should that still persist, are you not seeing any tones listed under the Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Text Tone menu?
Are you still able to change the tone for other alerts such as a new voicemail?
