Hello Apple Users,
I am planning on purchasing an unlocked iphone on ebay. I was just wondering if I need a SIM card to take photos on it. I am not an Apple user myself, so I don't really know how it all works. Can someone help me? Is it possible to use the phone just for photos without having to worry about connecting it to a phone carrier?

Keep off of eBay for expensive hardware. Plenty of fraudulent purchases are reported on these forums --many of which are from eBay. When purchasing an iPhone, and the seller never signs themselves out of iCloud on it, you will never able to use it on your own part. So, get it from Apple or an AASP. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller. Click: Service & Support > Enter your location information, and see if there is an AASP nearby. Contact one that shows up to find out more about the services that they offer to fix this.
