Why has Favourites/Dock been removed in WatchOS10??

I’m dealing with the same issue. I don’t understand what is with the constant need to change things. 🫤

totally agree. the dock was WAY BETTER than what you replaced it with. apps appear in random order. I’ve also tried removing apps and they show up again. BAD!

Not all of the apps have available widgets. The one at the top of my favorites list doesn’t (adding the widget was the first thing I tried) so this update is super annoying for me.

If I understand your needs correctly, I think you are looking for the open tasks dock. In WatchOS 10 it has moved with the shuffle of functions around the buttons. Try DOUBLE CLICK on the Digital Crown and see if you get what you want.

Open widget stack.

Tap and hold one.

Tap the yellow map pin

Agree. I want to select my favouite apps in the dock.

Double clicking on the crown brings up what apps are running and from there you can quit the app(s).

You can still do it! I have a bunch I added and rearranged on the new OS. Go to the dock, hold down one of the existing apps, and tiny icons will pop up, and the apps will start shaking. The icons let you add or remove the apps. Easy peezy!

How do you pin apps? I'm not seeing how this would be done either on the watch or on its app in the phone.

Swipe up on the screen. Long press app to pin. Tap on the pin option on the upper right of the app. It's kinda yellow colored.

How do you choose what apps to keep in Widgets?

Double tap the crown shows you what apps are open.

Not all apps can be pinned to the new dock.
