canon printer icon wrong

Instead of seeing the Canon printer icon in the dock pop up when printing it shows a generic "cartoon" looking icon. Prints OK and the correct icon appears in the printer preference pane but not the dock. Very strange. Looks fine with Monterey or Ventura. Also I notice my Blu-Ray DVD player pro app title in the top menu bar shows all symbols ilo the actual name. Works otherwise.
