Have upgraded to Sonoma and cannon change the order of the icons in the dock by long pressing any more. Anyone else having same problem and is there a workaround for this. It only gives you option to remove from dock.
I was having this issue too but turns out I was clicking too hard. I had to lightly click and drag.

On my Mac mini M1, click and drag still works, however you have to begin dragging as you click.
Ive tried all of the above with Both an M1 & M3 Max and cant seem to crack the code on this...anything else to suggest?
HA! So I finally got the double tap TWICE to worked for me. (not very intuitive ??)
If you want, you can change how this works via your Keyboard settings.
The double click and immediately drag does the trick. I knew I had accomplished it before but couldn't get it to work again until I read this. Thanks.
