Hi there, I see your question to the poster but you don’t actually answer his question.

i have an older iPad 6 with just 2 gb ram and when I find it slow I would press the power button till the shut down screen came up then press and hold the home button.

this would clear the ram.

why has this feature been disabled?

is there a new way to simply clear ram without a full restart?
