A feature has been added to macOS Sonoma - the onscreen caps lock indicator.
While i am sure this may be useful for some, for me it is not, is there any way to disable it?

This feature is not useful for most users. Some of us use Caps Lock for the following reasons: 1) while playing games, 2) writing code, 3) writing scripts or other documents that will require the function. APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS ANNOYING FEATURE AS THIS DOES NOT HELP WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A LIGHT ON THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!!!!
Agreed unhelpful for me, just gets in the way of forms I complete online. Why cannot we disable this unliked feature if we want to?
What would you file it under? I don't see a “macOS” category. Should I file my feedback under “MacBook Pro”?

Oh easy. Look for the “stupid features that someone thought would be great if enabled by default with no way to disable it” category. Should be there somewhere :)
I did that several times. Perhaps it helps if we all do so. Just submit the same request under different topics.
This is absolutely horrible, I work in Caps lock a ton in my business and its really unbelievable that know body though this could be a problem, I have also submitted feedback!
Where did you do this? I want to do it too. For me, it's super annoying.
Please tell me someone has figured this out. We use ALL CAPS all day for various applications. The symbol is incredibly annoying and making my Mac virtually unusable. Thanks, Denton

How many guys in this discussion has used Parallels Desktop❓
I am in doubt if that pop up has been activated because Sonoma or Parallels.
I have installed one and updated other in the same day.
It has nothing to do with Parallels.
So we have to wait for Apple to fix that mess ☹️☹️😡

Bother me a lot because the pop up has been exactly on the space where I input the datas in our countability system. 😩

I also like it. And, you can't beat fresh spinach sautéed in good olive oil and garlic and finished with a bit of sea salt.
