A feature has been added to macOS Sonoma - the onscreen caps lock indicator.
While i am sure this may be useful for some, for me it is not, is there any way to disable it?

This feature is not useful for most users. Some of us use Caps Lock for the following reasons: 1) while playing games, 2) writing code, 3) writing scripts or other documents that will require the function. APPLE PLEASE REMOVE THIS ANNOYING FEATURE AS THIS DOES NOT HELP WHEN THERE IS ALREADY A LIGHT ON THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!!!!

A better question is…why would you want it back on? :) I am sure Apple will add the option to turn it on and off at some point thru accessibility where it should have always been.

The temporary solution is there on the 4th and 5th page of this discussion. It works well and is a solution until Apple does it officially.
That's not really temporary. :)
Well, it's permanent until you run the code to reverse it. And I like Sonoma fine even with the Caps Indicator. I also don't bother with screen savers, beautiful or otherwise. 😎

The Caps Lock indicator is at least useful.
I hear you, that swiping around was disruptive to me as well. I turned all those features related to Full Screen and Stage Manager off immediately.
