iPhone 15 Pro Max keeps muting itself while actively on calls

iPhone 15 Pro Max keeps muting itself while actively on calls It is not on do not disturb. The volume is all the way up. Notifications are on and my mute button is not active! I have the latest software and I have reset it multiple times.

Is it possible that you're pressing the new Action button without realizing it? Since that button is new, if you've used iPhone in the past, you may not be expecting to press it. Same thing keeps happening to me. I have both Beats Studio Buds+ and AirPod Pro’s. I never had an issue until I got the 15 Pro Max. It’s ridiculous. Within minutes of taking a call, people start saying “Hello? Hello?” because it goes mute on my end. I have gone back and forth with Apple. Did all the gimmicks and tricks…reset the phone, reset the buds, reset the network settings, iOS updated, everything. They made me go to the Apple Store and everything checks out fine. The guy reset the network settings and asked me to make a call to someone. I did and, of course, there was no issue! Worked fine. I left and later that day, same thing. “Hello?” I have since stopped using my buds completely. Such an expensive inconvenience and it’s a brand new phone.
