I've download the lastest IOS and now my phones freezes

I have tried to open the calendar but it will not open, when I'm on a page my phone then freezes

You can try closing the app manually, restarting your phone and trying to open it again. This can clear up minor software issues. You can learn how to close apps here: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support


If things persist you may want to try deleting the app and installing it again. However, doing this can result in some app data loss depending on how you have things configured. If you're unable to get things sorted you can reach out for additional support here: Get Support
