Problem with connecting to the internet in macos sonoma 14

Just an hour ago I upgraded my macos to macos sonoma 14. And since then my internet is not working. I tried changing my dns and wifi diagnostics but it is not working. And to be sure I just connected a lan cable from router to macbook to see if I can access internet or not, it doesn’t work that way too.

is there any solutions to this problem?

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 13.5

actually, my problem is solved. I figured that an app called "Little Snitch" was blocking my whole network. so I just uninstalled it and now the problem is solved.

to be more specific I checked "VPN and filters" in my network settings and there it was, there was an option for "little snitch" which was blocking the internet network. so I disabled it and checked if my internet was working or not, and suddenly it was.

Same problem. Upon updating to Sonoma yesterday I could not access the internet. Worked through many possible problems with Apple Care to no avail. I was left to install a new OS from the internet in Recovery Mode. That done still no internet. This morning worked with another Apple Care employee. We discovered that upon restart we could open Chrome and Firefox and connect to various URLs for one minute, then the internet connection was broken. I noticed that when I ran First Aid in Recovery Mode several errors turned up. Rerunning First Aid showed that they had not been corrected. Finally, I erased the drive and reinstalled Ventura from the internet. I'll wait a while until Sonoma is bug free. I discovered Little Snitch enabled in my system too. I upgraded it to a later version compatible with Sonoma and again upgraded from Ventura to Sonoma. After upgrading Little Snitch and renewing the registration it worked as expected with Sonoma. So I agree with and thank Ali_Resaie.

I had the same problem and apple support phone help got me to restore my sonoma update but that didn't work. I troubleshooted the problem online this morning and found that same advice and removed my kapersky anti virus software and was able to get my wifi back.

Wasted a whole day of work trying to fix the problem but so relieved now to have fixed it. Found some other information online just now that says kapersky anti virus is not yet compatabile with the sonoma update...
