Sync music without cloud services

i have ripped 500 of my own CDs and in addition purchased music from Apple Music. I want to transfer all that music to my iPhone without using Sync Library or any cloud services. Other than my iPhone and MBP having the same account, I don’t want any other cloud intervention. Is this possible? Can I sync like it’s 2001 again?
