My AirPods are still on 4B66 why are they not updating?
My AirPods are still on software #4B66 they supposed to automatically update but are not! Can I manually update them to the latest update?

The firmware updates automatically when the device they are used with has the newest update version installed:
If needed: Tip: Leave AirPods connected to power overnight with the iPhone (with iOS17 installed) connected to wi-fi close by, so they can update automatically. (If you use a Mac with MacOS Sonoma installed, the update is quicker)

Mmm ... wondering if you bought your AirPods from Apple ...
If you want to check they are genuine: Find the serial number of your AirPods
Enter the serial number on this webpage:
Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
If the serial number generates an error message, the AirPods may not be genuine
