FaceTime call audio problem with MacBook air 2017

when I try to call someone with FaceTime, on my MacBook Air 2017, the output audio doesn't work well, it screams.

I have this problem only when I'm calling, not when I'm listening to music or other types of output audio.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7

Hi Niko690,

We understand you're having trouble with FaceTime and we can help.

Since this issue is only happening on FaceTime, does adjusting the volume help?

To make sure it's not a problem with the FaceTime connection or software, what happens if you connect external headphones or a headset to play the call? Does that help?

Try making a video in Photo Booth and play that back. Does that have a problem?
