add a website shortcut on the desktop

I bought a new 9th generation iPod. And I don't know how to add a website shortcut to the main screen. When I open a web page, I have three icons or graphic symbols in the upper right corner. The first is a square with an arrow piercing the top frame. Next to it is the + symbol. And at the end is a symbol of two squares overlapping each other. Can I use any of these symbols to add a website shortcut on the desktop?

To add a web-page to a Home Screen, tap the Share icon (the square with an upward-pointing arrow) - at upper right of the screen - to expose the Share Sheet. Scroll down the list of available actions; tap Add to Home Screen.
